Drafted off a 1962 deck trouser, then fixed the things that were wrong with it: a gusseted crotch so you can crouch, a tapered leg so it clears a boot, and belt loops wide enough for a 1.5" webbing belt.
Cotton ripstop with 2% elastane, garment-dyed in small lots so no two runs match exactly. Bar-tacked at every stress point.
